Winemaker Andrea Lonardi will be pouring the Southern Italian wines of Castello Monaci and Re Manfredi

Andrea Lonardi was born in Italy’s Valpolicella (Veneto) in a family of wine growers, raised among the drying racks for “appassimento” and drinking Amarone.  In 2000, Andrea graduated with a degree in Agriculture and specialization in Viticulture and Enology.After University, Andrea worked in Valpolicella, Southern France and in California. With the 2009 vintage, he assumed responsibility as Technical Director for Castello Monaci in Puglia and Re Manfredi in Basilicata where he manages all viticulture and winemaking

A pure Bostonian, Mr. Schwartz is a member of the Society of Wine  Educators, has been a featured educator at the Boston Wine Expos,  the Nantucket Wine Festival, worked with the Italian Trade Commission for trade development in Boston, was awarded the Wine  Spectator Award of Excellence.
