Summers’ warm nights, perfect for patio dining, have finally arrived in the mountains. We had a great start to the season, enjoying a dance-filled July 3rd party. Our Friday Afternoon Wine Club is underway; today we’ll feature some serious Italian juice (Taburno Falanghina, La Spinetta Moscato d’Asti, La Spinetta Langhe Nebbiolo). The farmer’s markets have arrived in the Vail Valley allowing us to source most of our vegetables from Miller Farms of Platteville, Colorado and our herbs from the local, organic, Thyme Mountain
Farm in Gypsum. Stop by to enjoy the summer season’s great local produce. We would like to congratulate staff members Christy Brown, Adam Bensinger, Michael Grant, and Jason Wilson on passing their first level sommelier exam with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Finally, congratulations to Chef/Owner Charles Hays’ on expecting his second child!

That’s Friday Afternoon Wine Club. Join Kathy Cohn and Kevin Lawrence every Friday at 5:30 p.m. We will taste through three exceptional wines paired with Chef Hays’ delicious cuisine. Sommelier Cathy or Kevin will be in the house to lend their wine expertise. Enjoy discounted pricing on all the wines from Avon Liquors. The cost for event is only $20.
Vail Valley Concierge Mixer July 24th:

We are excited to be hosting Red Car Winery for an exclusive tasting in the Vail Valley. Red Car Winery, located in Santa Maria, Ca. produces stunning Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Roses. S.I.N. at the VIN August 14th:
The night’s theme will be Wigs and Wine. Ladies pull out that electric blue bob and guys throw on your business-in-thefront-party-in-the-back do. Anyone donning faux hair will be rewarded with a glass of wine on the house! A DJ will spin until 2 a.m. and we’ll serve S.I.N. drink specials to keep those wigs dancing. Come party with all your friends in the industry. We will continue celebrating our guests and friends in the
service industry, with the once a month late-night throw downs. Stay tuned for details on our next bash.
C.A.F. Fundraiser August 17th:
The Central America Foundation is run by local Kelly Brupbacher to provide educational and medical supplies to students in Central America. Come out to support C.A.F. and enjoy great food , wine, live music, a silent

Vin48 can host your next big event for lunch or dinner. Rehearsal dinners, baby showers,
corporate events and any other need to party with a group of friends can be accommodated.
Here are your options depending on the size of your party:
LOFT LOUNGE: Our loft overlooking Vin’s wine bar is considered to have the best views in the
house. From this perch entertain up to 35 of your closest friends. This space also has its own private
entrance available.
WINE ROOM: For the coziest, candle-lit room in town, host your party in the wine room, nestled
behind our sculptural wine wall. Up to 20 people can enjoy this space.
THE WINE BAR: Gather your crew at our bar for a special food and wine experience. Have fun
tasting more than 45 wines by the glass preserved by our enomatic system. High top tables, wrap
around windows, and an open kitchen create a stimulating environment for up to 45 people to
mix and mingle.
LUNCH: We will open for private lunches for groups of 20 or more. We can customize a food
and wine menu to your liking.
BUY US OUT: The entire restaurant can accommodate up to 150 people for any event imaginable
